In 2002, when Julie Shematz did her first strip club outREACH, there were less than 5 ministries in the United States and throughout the doing this unique type of outREACH. With a passion for this marginalized populace and recognizing a need for the development of training, in 2005 Mrs. Shematz developed and implemented trainings across the nation sharing her unique model of strip club & sex worker's outREACH. In 2010, BFA received a federal capacity building grant from the Department of Health & Human Services which enabled her to transform the training into a professional curriculum which included afterCARE. In 2012, BFA launched our FAITH BASED, BEST PRACTICES outREACH and AfterCARE model training. As of March 2013, there are over 165 ministries around the world doing strip club outREACH.
Presented by Mrs. Shematz and master's level overcomers of sexual exploitation, trafficking, and abuse, as well as other professional helpers, BFA's comprehensive training equips professionals and nonprofessionals how to effectively do outREACH and afterCARE to the marginalized populous of sex workers.

Training Size: 20-25 People; to allow for intimate one on one ministry
Amount of Time: Training is approximately 25-29 hours spread over 4 days and strip club outREACH is approximately 3-6 hours.
Cost: $175 per person ** to attend Florida training. Discounted group fees.
